This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Identify and cultivate global opportunities for the development of personalized healthcare products for both domestic and international clients.
• Collaborate with lifecycle leadership and the legal department to negotiate Master and Project Collaboration Governing Agreements with pharmaceutical partners.
• Negotiate and implement Project Schedules that align with Roche’s and its partners' financial requirements for pathology lab service offerings.
• Lead negotiations and execution of Material Transfer Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Scope Change Agreements, and Project Amendments.
• Ensure cross-business alignment across Roche Diagnostics’ partnerships focused on PHCS, including collaborations in Core Lab and Molecular Lab within oncology, neurology, and general medicine.
• Support commercialization initiatives and the execution of agreements across regional affiliates for pharmaceutical partners involved in worldwide decentralized testing.
• Maintain and expand a pipeline of opportunities by nurturing existing partnerships and seeking new pharmaceutical partners.
• Monitor work to ensure quality standards and promote a “Quality First Time” approach.
• Manage, coach, and develop team members.
• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• Master of Business Administration or another advanced degree is preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in business, marketing, sales, or clinical fields, with a significant focus on strategic partnerships and companion diagnostics within the pathology sector.
• Proven success in achieving both corporate and individual objectives by establishing long-term effective partnerships, including pre-contract negotiations and post-contract alliance management.
• Experience in evaluating companion diagnostic opportunities for strategic alignment with corporate plans and performing market assessments.
• Strong understanding of global pharmaceutical and in vitro diagnostic markets, encompassing product development strategies, regulatory environments, and commercialization processes.
• In-depth knowledge of diagnostic testing modalities, including IHC/ISH, PCR, and immunoassay technologies.
• Ability to swiftly identify market opportunities and formulate strategic plans to leverage them.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to collaboratively resolve issues.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, achievement-driven environment.
• Strong leadership abilities with the skill to manage, coach, and develop team members.
• Willingness to travel up to 25-50% of the time.
• Candidates must reside in a contiguous U.S. state, with a preference for those based on the East Coast.
