This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with members of the Outside Sales team to enhance site-based customer engagement and penetrate key markets.
• Foster robust internal and cross-functional relationships.
• Acquire new and repeat business through customer partnerships, virtual meetings, and outbound calls.
• Regularly meet or surpass activity targets.
• Engage consistently with schools and childcare centers to evaluate emerging and ongoing requirements.
• Conduct virtual product demonstrations for proprietary services, such as Complete Classrooms®, professional development, and tailored solutions.
• Perform online research on local, state, and national trends as well as funding opportunities in early childhood and elementary education.
• Collaborate with department leadership to develop and adjust sales strategies.
• Work alongside outside sales, retail, and professional services to assist educators.
• Identify potential sales leads and work with the sales team to support market efforts.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss departmental initiatives and strategies.
• Contribute to special projects, including partnerships with outside sales and national or state campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Required: experience making a high volume of outbound sales calls in either an Inside Sales or Outside Sales role.
• Preferred: proven track record of sales success within the early childhood and K–5 education sectors.
• Preferred: in-depth understanding of the education industry's dynamics and decision-making processes.
• Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and ability to deliver exceptional results while working from home.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to address customer needs across all levels (teachers, administrators, directors).
• Highly coachable, eager to learn, and receptive to feedback.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a personal drive for improvement and success.
• Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
