This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with members of the Outside Sales team to enhance customer outreach at sites and penetrate key markets.
• Establish new and repeat business through building customer relationships, conducting virtual appointments, and making outbound calls.
• Achieve or surpass regular activity targets.
• Partner with schools and childcare centers to evaluate both emerging and ongoing needs.
• Facilitate virtual product presentations for proprietary services, professional development, and tailored solutions.
• Conduct online research regarding local, state, and national trends and funding opportunities in early childhood and elementary education.
• Collaborate with department leadership to develop and adapt sales strategies.
• Work alongside outside sales, retail, and professional services to support educators effectively.
• Identify sales leads and work with the sales team to bolster market support.
• Engage in weekly team meetings to discuss departmental initiatives and strategies.
• Assist with special projects, including partnerships with outside sales and national or state campaigns.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience in making high-volume outbound sales calls in either an Inside Sales or Outside Sales role is essential.
• Preferred: a proven track record of sales achievement within the early childhood and K–5 education sectors.
• Preferred: a strong understanding of the industry's dynamics and decision-making processes.
• A robust work ethic, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to deliver exceptional work from home.
• Proficient presentation skills and the ability to address customer needs across all levels (teachers, administrators, directors).
• Highly coachable with a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a personal commitment to improvement and success.
• Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
