This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Present and promote designated Merit Medical product lines to new clientele
• Follow up with clients to ensure products meet their requirements
• Foster strong relationships with clients and existing accounts
• Contact clients to showcase and demonstrate products, articulate benefits, and uncover unmet needs
• Identify prospective customers and introduce them to Merit product lines
• Monitor customer satisfaction levels and pinpoint areas for improvement
• Oversee the onboarding of new accounts and process orders in collaboration with Customer Service
• Develop and manage mail, email, and sampling marketing campaigns
• Prepare and submit pricing contracts for products
• Seek out opportunities to enhance sales volume and profitability
• Address manufacturing and delivery issues with clients
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams regarding product distribution, product knowledge, and customer feedback
• Make pricing decisions within established authorization parameters
• Provide market insights and assist in the execution of sales strategies
• Compile reports on sales outcomes, contacts, product requirements, and process enhancements
• Engage in sales training and strategy meetings
• Keep abreast of Merit and competitor offerings
• Aid in onboarding and training new Inside Sales Representatives and mentor colleagues
• Establish and meet personal sales performance targets
• Support initiatives aimed at boosting market share, product quality, and customer satisfaction
• Assist the sales team in achieving their goals and objectives
• Conduct sales activities via phone, fax, mail, and email
• Education and experience equivalent to a relevant Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of three years of combined direct sales or outbound sales experience
• Ability to effectively communicate and understand the needs of others in a sales context
• A high level of personal motivation and ambition to attain both personal and professional objectives
• Exceptional oral presentation skills and the ability to think quickly when analyzing issues and providing solutions to purchasing or medical personnel
• Capability to learn the usage of medical equipment and identify as well as explain possible improvements in its usage
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Proficient in business mathematics to calculate percentages and prepare financial and sales data
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to record, report, and document work performed
• Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight
• Willingness to work extended hours as necessary
• Proven computer skills, ideally in spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software applications
