This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Handle inquiries from patients regarding products/services, technical issues related to Dexcom offerings.
• Act as the initial point of contact for both patients and healthcare professionals concerning technical and service-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Address patient phone calls and emails by providing troubleshooting guidance and specific instructions.
• Analyze and discuss data with patients, offering phone training as necessary.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new patients using Dexcom CGM.
• Serve as a liaison for healthcare professionals.
• Manage daily patient interactions, encompassing both inbound and outbound calls.
• Assist patients with the functionality and ongoing use of Dexcom CGM systems.
• Triage and resolve patient inquiries.
• Identify and reach out to potential new patients.
• Articulate the advantages of CGM and Dexcom, assessing patient needs and suitability, including financial considerations.
• Provide education to patients and healthcare professionals on CGM, Dexcom product functions, competitor comparisons, and diabetes management.
• Oversee the pipeline for the assigned territory to ensure timely follow-ups and execution.
• Conduct benefit investigations and relay coverage information to customers.
• Meet monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Utilize and maintain software and databases to document and analyze patient and product data, manage replacements and samples, and conduct patient follow-ups.
• Mentor and train new team members.
• Document and facilitate the implementation of new processes in collaboration with management.
• Participate in training for new products as required.
• Adhere to quality system protocols, regulatory standards, and patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
• Fluency in both English and French is preferred, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while addressing sales and problem-solving challenges.
• Excellent customer service abilities along with a strong phone presence.
• Proven experience in customer service and advanced selling techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to overcome objections and successfully close business deals.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Effective listening skills to communicate accurately and effectively in person, via phone, through email, and other business correspondence.
• Exceptional phone skills and a capacity to empathize with customers.
• A minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience is required.
• High School diploma/certificate or equivalent is necessary.
• Must comply with quality system, regulatory requirements, and standards for patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Willingness to travel 5–15% is required.
