This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with members of the Outside Sales team to enhance customer outreach at sites and penetrate key markets.
• Develop robust internal and cross-functional relationships.
• Acquire new and repeat business through virtual appointments and outbound calls.
• Consistently meet or surpass activity requirements.
• Work alongside schools and childcare centers to evaluate emerging and ongoing needs.
• Conduct virtual product presentations for proprietary services, professional development, tailored solutions, and more.
• Perform online research on local, state, and national trends as well as funding opportunities in early learning and elementary education.
• Collaborate with department leadership to develop and adjust sales strategies.
• Partner with outside sales, retail, and professional services to assist educators.
• Identify sales leads and work with the sales team to support the market.
• Take part in weekly team meetings focused on departmental initiatives and strategies.
• Contribute to special projects, including partnerships with outside sales and national/state campaigns.
• Drive new business growth and meet sales quotas and daily activity targets.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Proven experience in making high-volume outbound sales calls in either Inside Sales or Outside Sales roles.
• Preferred: a strong history of successful sales within the early childhood (EC) and K–5 education sectors.
• Preferred: in-depth knowledge of the industry's dynamics and decision-making processes.
• A strong work ethic, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to deliver exceptional work from home.
• Excellent presentation skills and the capability to address customer needs at all levels (teachers, administrators, directors).
• Highly coachable with a desire to learn and accept constructive feedback.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a personal ambition to improve and succeed.
• Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
