This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to enhance customer outreach and penetrate key markets.
• Establish strong internal and cross-departmental relationships.
• Secure new and repeat business through virtual meetings and outbound calls.
• Regularly meet or surpass activity requirements.
• Partner with schools and childcare centers to evaluate emerging and ongoing needs.
• Conduct virtual product presentations on proprietary services, professional development, and customized solutions.
• Perform online research regarding local, state, and national trends, as well as funding opportunities in early learning and elementary education.
• Collaborate with department leadership to develop and adjust sales strategies.
• Work alongside outside sales, retail, and professional services teams to support educators.
• Identify sales leads and work with the sales team to bolster market support.
• Attend weekly team meetings focused on department initiatives and strategies.
• Assist with special projects, including partnerships with outside sales and national or state campaigns.
• Drive new business growth and achieve sales targets and daily activity objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in making a high volume of outbound sales calls in either Inside Sales or Outside Sales roles is mandatory.
• Preferred: a proven track record of sales success within the early childhood and K–5 education sectors.
• Preferred: thorough understanding of industry dynamics and decision-making processes.
• Strong work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and ability to excel in a remote work environment.
• Excellent presentation skills with the capability to address customer needs at all levels (teachers, administrators, directors).
• Highly receptive to coaching and eager to learn and implement feedback.
• Goal-oriented and self-driven with a personal commitment to improvement and success.
• Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
