This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with members of the Outside Sales team to enhance customer outreach and penetrate key markets on-site.
• Foster robust internal and cross-functional partnerships.
• Acquire new and repeat business through nurturing customer relationships, conducting virtual appointments, and making outbound phone calls.
• Achieve or surpass regular activity targets.
• Collaborate with schools and childcare centers to evaluate their emerging and ongoing requirements.
• Facilitate virtual product presentations showcasing proprietary services, professional development, and tailored solutions.
• Perform online research on local, state, and national trends in early learning and elementary education, as well as funding opportunities.
• Work alongside department leadership to develop and adjust sales strategies.
• Team up with outside sales, retail, and professional services teams to provide support for educators.
• Identify sales leads and partner with the sales team to assist in market support.
• Engage in weekly team meetings to discuss departmental initiatives and strategies.
• Contribute to special projects, including partnerships with outside sales and national or state campaigns.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience in making a high volume of outbound sales calls in an Inside Sales and/or Outside Sales capacity is essential.
• Preferred: Proven success in sales within the early childhood (EC) and K–5 education sectors.
• Preferred: In-depth understanding of the education industry's dynamics and decision-making processes.
• Strong work ethic and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
• Capability to deliver exceptional results while working remotely.
• Proficient presentation skills with the ability to address customer needs at all levels (teachers, administrators, directors).
• Highly receptive to coaching, demonstrating a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
• Goal-driven and self-motivated with a personal ambition for growth and success.
• Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
