This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with members of the Outside Sales team to enhance site-based customer outreach and achieve key market penetration.
• Establish robust internal and cross-functional relationships.
• Acquire new and repeat business through customer engagement, virtual appointments, and outbound calls.
• Meet or surpass regular activity benchmarks.
• Collaborate with schools and childcare centers to evaluate emerging and ongoing requirements.
• Facilitate virtual product presentations that showcase proprietary services, professional development, and custom solutions.
• Conduct online research concerning local, state, and national trends and funding opportunities in early learning and elementary education.
• Work alongside department leadership to develop and adjust sales strategies.
• Collaborate with outside sales, retail, and professional services teams to assist educators.
• Identify sales opportunities and work with the sales force to bolster market support.
• Engage in weekly team meetings focusing on departmental initiatives and strategies.
• Assist with special projects, including partnerships with outside sales and national or state campaigns.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Proven experience in making high-volume outbound sales calls in an Inside Sales and/or Outside Sales position is essential.
• Preferred: a strong history of sales achievements within the Early Childhood (EC) and K–5 education sectors.
• Preferred: a comprehensive understanding of the industry's dynamics and decision-making processes.
• A strong work ethic, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to deliver exceptional performance from home.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to address customer needs at all levels (teachers, administrators, directors).
• Highly coachable with a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a personal drive for improvement and success.
• Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
