This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to enhance site-specific customer engagement and penetrate key markets.
• Establish new and repeat business by fostering strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders through virtual meetings and outbound calls.
• Consistently achieve or surpass activity targets.
• Collaborate with schools and childcare facilities to evaluate current and emerging needs.
• Conduct virtual product demonstrations for proprietary services, including Complete Classrooms®, professional development, and tailored solutions.
• Perform online research on local, state, and national trends and funding opportunities in early childhood and elementary education.
• Work alongside department leadership to develop and adjust sales strategies.
• Collaborate with outside sales, retail, and professional services teams to support educators.
• Identify sales leads and work with the sales team to bolster market presence.
• Engage in weekly team meetings focused on departmental initiatives and strategies.
• Assist with special projects, including partnerships with outside sales and national or state campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience in making high-volume outbound sales calls in an Inside Sales and/or Outside Sales role is essential.
• Preferred: a strong track record of sales achievements within the early childhood and K–5 education sector, along with a deep understanding of the industry's dynamics and decision-making processes.
• Strong work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and the ability to deliver exceptional performance while working from home.
• Proficient presentation skills and the capability to address customer needs at various levels (teachers, administrators, directors).
• Highly coachable with a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
• Goal-driven and self-motivated with a personal ambition to grow and excel.
• Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
