This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to enhance customer outreach at various sites and penetrate key markets.
• Establish robust internal and cross-functional relationships.
• Acquire new and repeat business through virtual meetings and outbound calls.
• Meet or surpass regular activity benchmarks.
• Collaborate with schools and childcare centers to evaluate emerging and ongoing requirements.
• Conduct virtual product demonstrations that highlight proprietary services, professional development, and tailored solutions.
• Perform online research regarding local, state, and national trends and funding opportunities in early childhood and elementary education.
• Work alongside department leadership to develop and adjust sales strategies.
• Partner with outside sales, retail, and professional services teams to assist educators.
• Identify sales opportunities and collaborate with the sales team to support market efforts.
• Engage in weekly team meetings focused on departmental initiatives and strategies.
• Contribute to special projects, including collaborations with outside sales and national or state campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience in making a high volume of outbound sales calls in either an Inside Sales or Outside Sales role is essential.
• Preferred: Proven track record of sales success within the Early Childhood (EC) and K–5 education sectors.
• Preferred: Extensive knowledge of the industry's dynamics and decision-making processes.
• Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and ability to deliver exceptional work from home.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to address customer needs across all levels (teachers, administrators, directors).
• Highly coachable with a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
• Goal-oriented and self-driven, with a personal ambition for improvement and success.
• Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
• Great attention to detail.
