This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with members of the Outside Sales team to enhance site-specific customer outreach and penetrate key markets.
• Establish strong internal and cross-functional partnerships.
• Secure both new and repeat business through effective customer relationships, virtual appointments, and outbound calls.
• Consistently meet or surpass regular activity requirements.
• Work alongside schools and childcare centers to evaluate emerging and ongoing needs.
• Conduct virtual product presentations showcasing proprietary services, professional development, and tailored solutions.
• Perform online research regarding local, state, and national trends and funding opportunities in early learning and elementary education.
• Collaborate with department leadership to develop and adjust sales strategies.
• Partner with outside sales, retail, and professional services teams to support educators.
• Identify sales leads and work with the sales team to bolster the market.
• Engage in weekly team meetings to discuss department initiatives and strategies.
• Assist with special projects, including outside sales collaborations and national or state campaigns.
• Cultivate new business opportunities and meet sales quotas and daily activity objectives.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Proven experience in making high-volume outbound sales calls in either an Inside Sales or Outside Sales role is essential.
• Preferred: A strong history of sales success in the Early Childhood (EC) and K–5 education sectors.
• Preferred: In-depth understanding of the education industry's dynamics and decision-making processes.
• A strong work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and the ability to deliver exceptional work from home.
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to address customer needs at all levels (teachers, administrators, directors).
• Highly coachable with a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a personal drive to improve and achieve success.
• Experience with Salesforce is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
