This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +3 more states.
• Act as a trusted advisor and specialist to ePlus.
• Establish mutually advantageous partnerships that align with HPE’s business objectives.
• Propel end-to-end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline through collaborative business plans and data-informed sales initiatives.
• Cultivate an understanding of partner priorities, industry developments, the IT landscape, investment strategies, HPE priorities, and HPE technologies.
• Articulate the value of HPE portfolios and solutions to set HPE apart from competitors.
• Forge executive-level connections with ePlus to enhance HPE’s market presence.
• Synchronize HPE activities with ePlus, encompassing sales schedules, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client interactions.
• Drive account mapping efforts with ePlus and HPE Sales teams to harmonize field sales.
• Lead and execute HPE strategies, programs, and systems on behalf of ePlus.
• Guide partner resources and sellers towards the HPE product lineup.
• Customize HPE products, services, and technology alliance solutions to meet ePlus customer requirements and assigned quotas.
• Recruit and foster relationships with new partners.
• Ensure partners are informed about and adhere to HPE SBC requirements and relevant legal obligations.
• Align sales efforts across various customer segments.
• Preferred: University or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Generally, 8+ years of experience in partner sales.
• Experience in selling to partners within a complex environment.
• Experience collaborating with and through ePlus.
• Strong awareness of current technology trends and corresponding HPE strategies.
• Ability to influence partners and demonstrate effective selling skills.
• Understanding of business and financial principles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HPE products and how they differentiate from competitors.
• In-depth understanding of the partner industry, trends, competitors, and channel dynamics.
• Capable of negotiating and resolving business disputes.
• Knowledge of financial accounting concepts, including income statements, balance sheets, and revenue forecasts.
• Proficient in forecasting sales quotas and anticipating partner needs.
• Professional, articulate, and effective in both verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Innovative mindset with proactive approaches to advancing sales.
• Capability to collaborate with partners across Commercial, Enterprise, Public Sector, Cloud, Hyperscalers, and Service Providers.
• Proficient in managing a substantial sales quota.
