This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as a trusted advisor to partners and cultivate mutually beneficial relationships.
• Propel HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline through collaborative business plans and data-driven sales initiatives.
• Communicate HPE's global and local business strategies for selling with, to, and through partners.
• Gain insights into partner priorities, industry trends, the IT landscape, investment strategies, HPE priorities, and technology.
• Align HPE activities with partners, covering sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, business planning, and client interactions.
• Advance HPE marketing strategies through customer engagement.
• Execute HPE strategies, programs, and systems on behalf of partners.
• Customize HPE products, services, and technology alliances according to partner customer profiles and assigned quotas.
• Identify and foster relationships with new partners as necessary.
• Observe partner sales environments to aid in pipeline development.
• Ensure partners comprehend and adhere to HPE SBC requirements and relevant legal obligations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• A university or Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Typically, a minimum of 5 years of sales experience is required.
• Strong background in partner sales is highly desired.
• Familiarity with current technology trends and the corresponding HPE strategy.
• Capability to influence partners and broaden HPE's business reach.
• Understanding of business and financial principles.
• Knowledge of HPE products and their competitive positioning.
• Comprehension of partner industries, trends, competitors, and channels.
• Insight into partner relationships and their needs.
• Awareness of financial accounting principles, including income statements, balance sheets, and revenue forecasts.
• Ability to project sales quotas and address sales gaps.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Innovative mindset with a proactive approach to enhancing sales efforts.
• Expected travel of 50%.
• Must be based in Atlanta, Georgia or Virginia.
