Part-Time Territory Sales Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Drive and ensure complete distribution of authorized Hershey products within the designated territory.

• Implement retail sales and merchandising strategies across a variety of retail outlets.

• Construct displays and enhance the distribution of top-performing products.

• Restock permanent secondary displays as necessary.

• Meet merchandising goals utilizing permanent secondary displays and other display methods.

• Provide weekly updates on activities, expenses, competitive insights, account modifications, promotions, and administrative tasks.

• Log daily activities using a tablet at the conclusion of each day.

• Visit around 6–10+ accounts daily.

• Conduct numerous sales calls throughout the assigned region.

• Represent Hershey brands such as Reese’s, Hershey’s Kisses, Twizzlers, and Jolly Ranchers.

• Must live within the specified territory boundaries or cities.

• Willingness to travel to various store locations is essential.

• A valid driver's license issued by a US state.

• Personal vehicle must be in good working condition.

• Personal auto insurance must have a minimum coverage of $300,000 per person / $300,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage.

• The Hershey Company must be named as an additional insured or interested party on the auto insurance policy prior to employment.

• Capability to drive long distances and conduct multiple sales calls each day.

• Ability to regularly lift between 10–40 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and manual dexterity are required, with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Proficiency in utilizing tablet technology.

• Must have daily access to wireless internet.

• Must be adaptable and flexible to changes in territory assignments.

• Availability to work 20–25 hours each week.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

• 3–4 years of experience in food merchandising is preferred but not mandatory.
