Part-Time Territory Sales Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Promote and deliver exceptional merchandising for Hershey brands.

• Create displays, enhance distribution of top-selling products, and restock permanent secondary displays.

• Implement sales priorities and support retail strategies within a designated territory.

• Impact store-level results and foster long-term business success.

• Collaborate with store management, internal teams, and colleagues to execute strategies and resolve issues.

• Sell and ensure complete distribution of all approved Hershey products within the assigned territory.

• Carry out Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans with various retail partners.

• Meet merchandising goals through Permanent Secondary Displays and additional display methods.

• Provide weekly updates on activities, expenses, account modifications, promotions, and administrative tasks.

• Log daily activities using tablets at the conclusion of each workday.

• Visit around 6–10+ accounts each day.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by a US state.

• Must have a personal vehicle that is in good working condition.

• Must maintain personal auto insurance with a minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, allowing for business use.

• Must either reside or be willing to commute within the specified territory boundaries listed in the job description.

• Must be capable of driving long distances and conducting multiple sales calls each day.

• Must be able to lift 10–40 lbs. on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Must frequently be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Must be proficient in using tablet technology.

• Must have daily access to wireless internet.

• Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.

• Availability to work between 20 and 25 hours per week.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

• 3–4 years of experience in food merchandising is preferred but not mandatory.
