Part-Time Territory Sales Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Promote and ensure exceptional merchandising of Hershey products

• Construct displays, enhance distribution of best-selling items, and restock permanent secondary displays

• Implement sales priorities and assist retail strategy within a designated territory

• Utilize consultative selling, influence, negotiation, and problem-solving methods

• Create and implement retail priorities prior to each store visit

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of authorized Hershey products

• Execute Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans across various retailers

• Meet merchandising goals through permanent secondary displays and other display methods

• Provide weekly reports on activities, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative duties

• Document daily activities using tablets

• Visit around 6–10+ accounts daily and collaborate with store leadership, internal teams, and colleagues

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid driver's license issued by a US state

• Personal vehicle in good working order

• Personal auto insurance with at least $100,000 coverage per person, $100,000 per accident, and $100,000 for property damage, allowing for business use

• Reside or be willing to commute within the specified territory boundaries

• Capability to drive long distances and make multiple sales calls each day

• Ability to regularly lift 10–40 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations

• Capability to bend, kneel, stoop down, and frequently demonstrate manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodations

• Proficiency in using tablet technology

• Daily access to wireless internet

• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage

• Availability to work 20–25 hours a week

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Preferred but not required: 3–4 years of food merchandising experience
