Part-time Reference Librarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional reference and research assistance to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.

• Provide support to students via chat, text, phone, email, and virtual appointments.

• Aid students with their research inquiries.

• Conduct individualized consultations.

• Assist in facilitating webinars and instructional sessions.

• Contribute to creating an outstanding online library experience that fosters student success.

• Support students' academic endeavors through library services and research assistance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited institution.

• Over 3 years of professional librarian experience.

• Strong skills in reference, research, and customer service.

• Preferred experience in academic libraries and/or online library services.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and technological skills.

• Familiarity with Springshare LibAnswers is advantageous.

• Availability from Sunday to Thursday.

• Available until 8:00 PM Pacific on Sundays.

• Available until 9:00 PM Pacific Monday through Thursday.

• Must be able to work hours in the Pacific Time Zone.
