Part-Time Legal AI Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze AI-generated responses to legal queries for precision, clarity, and professionalism.

• Annotate and evaluate model outputs to aid in AI training and enhancement.

• Craft expert-level responses to legal inquiries to serve as training examples for the model.

• Identify errors, misconceptions, or unclear outputs and provide corrective suggestions.

• Develop and create realistic legal tasks based on professional experience, which include scenarios, prompts, supporting materials, and grading criteria.

• Execute tasks with AI models and refine them based on feedback from expert reviewers.

• Adhere to comprehensive written guidelines and document/upload formatting specifications.

• Ensure consistent quality and productivity throughout the engagement period.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven legal experience (litigation, corporate/transactional, compliance, or similar); current practice as an attorney is not necessary.

• Excellent written communication skills; capable of conveying complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

• Currently or recently engaging in this role at a detailed, individual-contributor level, rather than solely in a managerial position.

• Attentive reading of written instructions; open to feedback and cycles of revision.

• Basic technological proficiency, including familiarity with cloud file tools such as Google Workspace, browser profiles, desktop application installation, and routine file management.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, self-directed setting.

• Residing in the United States.

• Available for 30–40 hours per week throughout the full 12-week engagement period.

• General knowledge of LLM usage and the AI landscape.

• J.D. and bar admission are preferred but not required.
