This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Oversee a substantial caseload of personal injury cases from initial intake to final resolution.
• Interact with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and defense attorneys.
• Acquire and assess medical records, bills, and other documents pertinent to cases.
• Create demand packages and support settlement negotiations.
• Organize case files and maintain a calendar to track all deadlines effectively.
• Compose correspondence, case summaries, and necessary legal documents.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys to formulate case strategies and prepare for litigation or settlement.
• Ensure adherence to legal protocols and deadlines specific to Massachusetts.
• Offer compassionate and timely support to clients throughout all phases of their cases.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing Personal Injury cases.
• Proven experience handling personal injury cases in Massachusetts is essential.
• Strong grasp of Massachusetts Personal Injury laws, court procedures, and the pre-litigation process.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in legal case management software (e.g., Filevine, Smart Advocate, Needles, or similar tools).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is advantageous.
• A paralegal certificate or background in legal studies is preferred but not mandatory.
• Capability to manage a high-volume caseload from initial intake to resolution.
• Skills in communicating effectively with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and defense attorneys.
• Proficiency in obtaining and reviewing medical records, bills, and other case-related documentation.
• Expertise in preparing demand packages and assisting in settlement discussions.
• Ability to maintain organized case files and ensure deadlines are tracked through calendaring.
• Competence in drafting correspondence, case summaries, and legal documents.
• Ability to collaborate with attorneys on case strategies and preparations for litigation or settlement.
• Capacity to ensure compliance with Massachusetts legal procedures and deadlines.
