Part-time Faculty, Human Resources

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver meaningful and prompt feedback to students on a variety of assessment tasks.

• Foster a positive, safe, inclusive, and student-focused learning atmosphere.

• Meet deadlines for essential tasks, including final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, and contributions to grade appeals.

• Engage in necessary professional training and/or scholarly activities, as applicable.

• Offer insights to the course lead regarding course materials.

• Recognize at-risk students and collaborate with student services for support.

• Collaborate closely with the Academic Program Director and fellow faculty members within the program.

• Enhance program quality, promote student engagement, and support student success.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Doctoral degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Management with substantial Human Resources coursework and/or relevant professional experience, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution is required.

• A preferred 3–5 years of teaching experience at the graduate and/or doctoral level.

• Experience on doctoral dissertation committees is preferred.

• Preferred experience as a dissertation chair.

• Evidence of continuous scholarly engagement, such as peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, or research, is preferred.

• Mentoring experience with doctoral students is preferred.

• Preferred professional HR certifications, such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or GPHR.

• Preferred experience in teaching online doctoral courses.

• Familiarity with qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed-methods research is preferred.

• A cover letter is required.
