πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee the administration of human resource plans and procedures.

β€’ Assist in the development and execution of personnel policies and procedures.

β€’ Prepare and update the employee handbook along with the policies and procedures manual.

β€’ Contribute to the establishment of departmental goals, objectives, and systems.

β€’ Conduct orientations for new employees.

β€’ Draft and revise job descriptions.

β€’ Manage employee relations including counseling, outplacement services, and exit interviews.

β€’ Engage in administrative staff meetings and attend relevant meetings and seminars.

β€’ Maintain HRIS records and generate database reports.

β€’ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

β€’ Assist in performance management processes, encompassing disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.

β€’ Conduct HR investigations and offer recommendations.

β€’ Provide support to designated geographic regions, with a primary emphasis on California.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

β€’ Over 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist capacity.

β€’ More than 5 years of HR generalist experience supporting employees in California.

β€’ Familiarity with California wage and hour regulations, including meal/rest periods, overtime, final pay, CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.

β€’ Knowledge of compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment regulations.

β€’ Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.

β€’ Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

β€’ Capability to manage confidential information with integrity.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

β€’ Experience with HRIS systems.

β€’ PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
