This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Conduct workplace investigations while serving as an impartial fact-finder.

• Offer guidance on matters related to employee relations.

• Facilitate the fair and consistent resolution of workplace issues.

• Oversee investigations concerning alleged policy breaches, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace behavior issues, and other employee grievances.

• Collaborate with Employee Relations, Human Resources Business Partners, Labor Relations, Legal, Global Security, and organizational leaders.

• Evaluate facts and document the findings of investigations.

• Ensure consistent and compliant outcomes.

• Consult with Human Resources Business Partners and leadership on employee relations topics.

• Provide actionable guidance, assess risks, and suggest suitable courses of action.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, workplace investigations, or a comparable field.

• Proven experience in conducting workplace investigations.

• Familiarity with employment laws and HR policies.

• Experience advising leaders on employee-related issues.

• Capability to carry out comprehensive, impartial, and defensible workplace investigations.

• Excellent interviewing, fact-finding, analytical, and report-writing abilities.

• Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality, exercising sound judgment, assessing credibility, and handling sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion.

• Ability to consult and work collaboratively with Human Resources Business Partners and leaders on employee relations issues.

• Competence in providing practical guidance, evaluating risk, and recommending suitable actions while balancing business needs and compliance obligations.

• Strong communication, conflict resolution, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

• Preferred experience in conducting investigations related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace misconduct, ethics issues, and other policy breaches.

• Experience in supporting manufacturing, production, distribution, or unionized environments is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with case management systems such as HR Acuity, Navex, EthicsPoint, or similar platforms is preferred.

• Professional certifications pertinent to workplace investigations, human resources, employee relations, conflict resolution, or employment law are advantageous.
