Part Time Faculty, Applied Psychology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver instruction utilizing a pre-established curriculum.

• Conduct competency-based assessments and provide timely feedback within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.

• Assist learners in achieving academic success in asynchronous FlexPath courses.

• Utilize the online learning platform to enhance the educational experience.

• Set high expectations and clarify evaluation criteria.

• Comply with University policies and procedures.

• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and mandatory training sessions.

• Engage in additional activities as needed by the university.

• Accept assignments on an ongoing rolling-enrollment basis based on expertise and institutional needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required online teaching experience.

• Professional experience in the relevant discipline: a minimum of two years for undergraduate courses and three years for graduate courses.

• Research, scholarship, or notable achievements in the discipline required for graduate-level instruction.

• Doctoral-level experience in conducting and supervising research in the discipline is necessary.

• All degrees must be awarded and obtained from a regionally accredited institution.

• A master's degree in psychology is mandatory.

• Three years of teaching experience is preferred.

• A doctorate degree in psychology is preferred.

• Proven knowledge of academic evaluation processes.

• Proficiency in oral presentation, course objective planning, and organization.

• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.

• Familiarity with academic technology is essential.

• Strong computer skills are required.

• Capacity to handle potentially challenging situations in a professional and ethical manner.

• Must be able to travel occasionally within the U.S. if business needs arise.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Access to a computer, a private workspace, reliable internet, phone, and video conferencing capabilities at a remote location is necessary.

• Must meet critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication standards.

• Ability to retrieve information using a computer.
