Part-time Credit Evaluator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze transcripts, credits obtained, degree prerequisites, and other academic records to ascertain degree completion.

• Keep student Degree Progress Audits (DPAs) updated in Anthology.

• Evaluate students’ previous academic work and determine how earned credits apply within DPAs.

• Contribute to the development and upkeep of SIS configurations that ensure precise and automated credit evaluations.

• Utilize institutional policies and articulation agreements to evaluate credit equivalency and course relevance.

• Maintain precise records of assessed credits and update student information in the student information system.

• Offer guidance to students, advisors, and faculty on transfer credit policies and degree prerequisites.

• Identify and rectify discrepancies in transfer evaluations in collaboration with academic departments.

• Ensure timely evaluation processing to facilitate enrollment, academic planning, and graduation schedules.

• Communicate with students regarding their degree completion status and the option to confer their degree.

• Provide weekly updates on evaluation progress and student response rates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 2 years of experience in credit evaluation and degree conferrals.

• More than 2 years of experience in the Registrar Department.

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

• Ensures accuracy in audits and compliance verifications.

• Collaborates effectively with various departments.

• Communicates clearly while providing guidance and support to others.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Capable of assessing compliance trends, identifying risks, and recommending enhancements.

• Familiarity with platforms and Student Information Systems (PeopleSoft).

• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently.

• Must reside in the USA.
