This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.
• Acquire new accounts and nurture existing ones in the Vermont region.
• Assist in creating and sustaining a census for Divided Sky's Residential Recovery Program.
• Establish, activate, and enhance referral relationships as the representative of Divided Sky in the market.
• Serve as a liaison between Divided Sky and referral partners, including evaluating account needs and addressing issues.
• Organize and conduct on-site tours for the Vermont referral community.
• Represent Divided Sky at conferences, recovery events, community gatherings, committees, and similar engagements.
• Identify partnership opportunities and promote awareness of the Divided Sky recovery model.
• Record meeting activities in the CRM database.
• Strategically manage a territory while ensuring active market visibility.
• Travel throughout Vermont and maintain an independent schedule.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• Report to the Director of Business Development.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a behavioral health environment.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of 12-step, abstinence-based recovery within the Vermont recovery context.
• Solid understanding of the Vermont recovery landscape is essential.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Organized and creatively tenacious in discovering new partnership opportunities.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting documents.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of following written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions using common sense.
• Adaptable to departmental needs.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Ability to manage a strategic territory while ensuring robust market visibility.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
• Capability to travel across Vermont year-round.
• Ability to perform indoor and outdoor tasks in all seasons.
• Competence in driving a motor vehicle for extended periods and operating it safely under varying weather conditions.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds during driving-related tasks.
• Adequate vision and hearing for safe driving, with or without corrective aids.
