
Part-Time Account Call Center Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls to patients/guarantors concerning account balances.
• Inform patients/guarantors about outstanding balances and provide answers to their inquiries.
• Recognize concerns or objections and ascertain the optimal course of action.
• Negotiate full payments or establish maximum payment arrangements in line with policy.
• Assess patients/guarantors for insurance, billing, or financial aid opportunities.
• Address patient/guarantor inquiries and express gratitude for choosing OhioHealth services.
• Update patient demographic information and foster rapport with patients/guarantors.
• Accurately log account details, make necessary adjustments, or refer as needed.
• Suggest manual charge-offs based on established criteria.
• Adhere to quality and productivity standards.
• Execute responsibilities with an emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.
• High School diploma or GED (Required).
• Proficiency with computer systems.
• Skills in data entry.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Capacity to quickly establish rapport with patients.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices.
• At least two years of customer service or collections experience.
• Minimum six months of experience in a call center setting.
• Ability to work from Ohio for remote work eligibility.
• Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
• Day shift.
