This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist a team of attorneys with litigation activities from the beginning through trial and conclusion.
• Oversee client cases from inception to trial and closure.
• Ensure daily time entry billing obligations are met.
• Gather, evaluate, analyze, and summarize documents, such as medical records, financial statements, and other pertinent case information.
• Prepare for trials by organizing trial binders, exhibits, and witness files.
• Manage the court docket calendar efficiently.
• Develop status reports and communicate updates to relevant parties.
• Handle cases from start to finish while adhering to all court deadlines.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally in defense litigation support.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited institution.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong time management abilities with the capacity to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in communicating with diverse teams of attorneys, legal personnel, court officials, clients, expert witnesses, and more.
• Proven interest in defense litigation.
• Capability to conduct legal research.
• Experience with Lexis is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the process of reviewing and obtaining medical records.
• Background in time entry billing within a law firm environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
