This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Enhance and execute best practices associated with eDiscovery and data workflows.
• Address the eDiscovery requirements of both internal and external legal counsel.
• Provide paralegal assistance to in-house lawyers regarding litigation issues.
• Supervise legal holds, manage evidence collection, and carry out data processing initiatives.
• Counsel attorneys on the identification, preservation, collection, analysis, processing, review, and production of data.
• Collaborate with litigators and internal IT staff to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
• Serve as a liaison among litigators, internal IT teams, and outside counsel throughout the eDiscovery process.
• Suggest process enhancements to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective eDiscovery.
• Aid in the preparation of correspondence, pleadings, notices, calendar requests, status reports, subpoenas, affidavits, depositions, expert reports, and both discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct legal research under supervision.
• Cite-check briefs and prepare accompanying exhibits, tables of authorities, and tables of contents.
• Assist with meetings, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Organize and manage case files and docket deadlines.
• Execute other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Significant experience in eDiscovery or litigation support.
• A minimum of three years as a certified paralegal or a bachelor’s degree along with at least two years of paralegal experience in litigation.
• Comprehensive understanding of data processing tools and applications, as well as eDiscovery challenges in a global context.
• Familiarity with document review platforms.
• Proven excellent research and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Established organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
