This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Prepare legal documents such as correspondence, pleadings, and contracts.
• Oversee the discovery process, which includes organizing, reviewing, and producing documents.
• Gather, assess, and summarize medical records, bills, and other essential case materials.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparations and attend hearings or trials as necessary.
• Perform legal research and provide summaries of findings.
• Keep case files and calendars accurate and up-to-date.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and experts.
• Monitor and document billable hours in compliance with firm guidelines.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role (insurance defense is preferred).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of court and administrative proceedings.
• Knowledge of lawsuit summaries, litigation files, and legal record maintenance.
• Competent in handling administrative tasks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is a fundamental aspect of this role.
• Must fulfill billing goal expectations.
