This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Prepare and evaluate legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Perform legal research and analyze case law.
• Create case summaries and support trial preparations.
• Organize and manage client files and case management systems.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional and timely manner.
• Provide general administrative assistance to attorneys and legal teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Experienced in MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.
• Familiar with U.S. legal systems and court procedures.
• Experience with legal software such as Clio, MyCase, or PracticePanther.
• Knowledgeable in areas including litigation, corporate law, immigration, or family law.
