P2P Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team comprising several accounts payable specialists

• Ensure timely review and processing of payables

• Take ownership of the complete accounts payable cycle, which includes vendor setup, purchase order workflows, payment approvals, and vendor management

• Supervise I2P operational activities that support legal entity statements and statutory reporting across various business units

• Organize and delegate tasks to analysts based on monthly cycles and ad hoc needs

• Track performance, service delivery timelines, and compliance with internal control standards

• Collaborate with plant/site controllers and accounting controllers regarding I2P issues

• Engage specialists in specific accounting matters that require in-depth expertise

• Identify opportunities for improvements and initiate related projects

• Develop and monitor growth plans for team members

• Oversee and track the accounts payable team and related transactions

• Foster a high-performance environment through positive leadership and teamwork

• Address accounts payable discrepancies involving internal systems, vendors, government agencies, and auditors

• Handle accounts payable inquiries and act as a liaison with third parties

• Keep vendor file information up to date

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

• Strong financial and business analytical skills, with a capacity to analyze data for timely business decisions

• Expertise in Procure to Pay (E2E) processes with over 5 years of experience

• More than 5 years of experience in team management

• Proficient in effective and efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to work remotely on a global scale while maintaining attention to detail

• Strong communication and change management abilities

• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (certification is a plus)

• Capacity to gather facts, analyze problems comprehensively, and propose potential solutions

• Ability to manage and coordinate team deadlines
