This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
β’ Drive profitable sales within a designated geographical region by servicing and nurturing customer relationships, focusing on major and target accounts.
β’ Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints effectively.
β’ Define and inform prospective clients about the company's functions and capabilities.
β’ Monitor and report on industry trends to company management.
β’ Identify key decision-makers and build relationships with current and prospective customers.
β’ Create territory market plans that include measurable goals, objectives, action plans, and benchmarks.
β’ Support inside sales teams with special accounts and projects as needed.
β’ Assist credit managers when required.
β’ Schedule and conduct sales calls and visits.
β’ Estimate customer product usage and participation from business units.
β’ Provide training on products and services for customers and business unit staff.
β’ Track and report on pricing deviations and noteworthy trends in transactions.
β’ Relay customer product and quality requirements to inside sales and operations teams.
β’ Suggest additions or deletions to the product catalog and company services.
β’ Initiate and monitor electronic item inventory needs.
β’ Recommend current and potential advertising strategies.
β’ Stay informed about company products, services, and operational procedures.
β’ Maintain and update the customer database regularly.
β’ Download, review, and follow up on quotes on a daily basis.
β’ Review daily sales to ensure customer appreciation and order evaluations.
β’ A two-year college degree or equivalent experience is required.
β’ At least one year of experience in public or customer interaction.
β’ Minimum of one year in a sales role is necessary.
β’ A safety-oriented mindset is essential.
β’ Completion or progress towards a four-year degree in sales, business, or marketing is preferred.
β’ Three to five years of sales experience is preferred.
β’ Training and/or experience in metallurgy is preferred.
β’ Experience in public speaking is preferred.
β’ General computer skills are preferred.
β’ Successful completion of pre-employment drug tests, which may include marijuana testing, is required.
β’ The position involves direct work on or around motor vehicle equipment.
