This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Drive growth in sales and profitability by fostering strong account relationships.
• Concentrate on expanding complex business opportunities and developing new ventures.
• Track key performance metrics for assigned professional clients to meet or surpass sales and margin objectives.
• Collaborate with the Pro Sales Manager to enhance competitive positioning and promote capability adoption.
• Attend district and regional meetings as necessary.
• Regularly update the Pro Sales Manager on weekly activities.
• Represent The Home Depot Pro brand at local community events.
• Market enterprise products and services, including Commercial Credit, Volume Pricing, delivery, will-call pickup, and online ordering.
• Generate new account revenue in alignment with individual goals and quotas.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales Support Representatives on quoting, ordering, and customer transactions.
• Conduct in-person sales appointments and nurture customer relationships.
• Broaden the customer base within the designated sales territory.
• Manage customer communication and sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce.
• Hold initial meetings with customers and prospect for new business using both internal and field-generated leads.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• High school diploma and/or GED is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• At least 2 years of account management or sales management experience is preferred.
• Preferably, 2+ years of experience in the home improvement or home building industry.
• Strong capability to establish and maintain an active network of relationships.
• Ability to utilize relationships to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• In-depth understanding of Pro customer requirements.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills; capable of persuading or influencing others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Overnight travel is typically required 20% to 50% of the time.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and lift or handle moderate-weight materials or equipment (8–20 pounds).
• Comfortable working in environments with temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
