Outside Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Drive the expansion of company-operated NAPA Auto Parts stores, enhancing customer base, sales, and profitability.

• Advocate for NAPA products and programs to wholesale clients.

• Collaborate with the local Store Manager to devise strategies for increasing sales.

• Actively initiate, contact, manage, and cultivate local prospects.

• Assess customer requirements and align solutions with NAPA's offerings.

• Partner with manufacturer representatives to enhance program offerings and improve customer knowledge.

• Engage customers through NAPA’s eSales initiatives.

• Conduct educational seminars, clinics, and presentations on NAPA's product lines and services.

• Ensure customer satisfaction and deliver exceptional customer service.

• Address customer issues, complaints, and inquiries in person or via telephone.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or outside sales.

• Over 2 years of experience in a customer-centric position.

• Capability to perform effectively in a quota-driven setting.

• Fundamental selling skills, including preparation for sales calls, management of customer meetings, overcoming customer objections, closing sales, and maintaining accounts.

• Ability to present information effectively in group meetings.

• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years.

• Capacity to bend to reach floor-level shelves and access upper shelves up to eight feet high using a stool or ladder when necessary.

• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the entire work shift.

• Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs.

• Strong speaking and attentive listening abilities.

• Competence in setting expectations, fulfilling commitments, tracking results, and managing accountability.

• Ability to inspect, safeguard, and maintain company assets, merchandise, vehicles, buildings, and personnel.
