This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Meet sales objectives by retaining current customers and generating new business within industrial, municipal, and process industry accounts in eastern Wisconsin.
• Conduct market research to pinpoint emerging opportunities, target accounts, competitive actions, and industry trends.
• Initiate sales calls and present tailored solutions to potential clients.
• Establish strong customer relationships and gain insights into their core business and profit drivers.
• Offer strategic recommendations, pricing, and customized solutions for process instrumentation, flow control valves, actuated valve assemblies, and associated products.
• Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize transactions.
• Manage the delivery, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems.
• Collaborate with OEMs, engineering, and technical teams to clarify customer requirements and develop specifications.
• Log account, contract, and sales activities in the CRM system on a daily basis.
• Create plans to leverage emerging markets and increase territory revenue.
• Foster long-term customer relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
• 3 to 5 years of results-driven outside sales experience with a proven history of meeting and exceeding targets.
• Mechanical understanding and practical knowledge of assembly, fabrication, power units, lubrication systems, and electrical controls.
• Capability to devise and implement strategies to boost market share.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to present to customers effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 365.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A background in industrial sales is preferred.
• Experience in reading building blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics is a plus.
• An associate's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is desirable.
• Established relationships within eastern Wisconsin's industrial or municipal markets are beneficial.
