Outreach Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the Customer Outreach Program.

• Provide vision and guidance for the customer outreach and growth team.

• Collaborate with Managed Security Services program leadership and vendors to maintain a unified marketing and communications strategy.

• Develop and deliver educational webinars focused on Managed Security Services.

• Create engaging, customer-oriented service descriptions and marketing materials.

• Write articles on security services and educational content for newsletters and direct customer communications, while managing their distribution.

• Represent the organization at events and cybersecurity conferences, giving presentations on Managed Security Services.

• Interact with customers, offering consultative support, nurturing leads, and facilitating service adoption.

• Plan, implement, and oversee outreach campaigns; track progress and report on activities, achievements, and effectiveness.

• Evaluate campaign success, pinpoint areas for improvement, and enhance outcomes.

• Compile and present the annual report on customer outreach.

• Conduct communication and training activities for customers.

• Expand the customer base by recognizing outreach opportunities, creating partnerships, and utilizing various channels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with ten (10) years or more of relevant experience; Master's degree with eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD with five (5) years or more experience.

• Demonstrated expertise in marketing and communications, including the creation of materials for both digital and print platforms.

• Proven track record in marketing IT services, with a preference for experience in cybersecurity services.

• Demonstrated ability to speak and present at conferences, webinars, or public events; comfortable delivering presentations to large audiences, including groups of 500 or more.

• Prior experience in leading a team or managing personnel in a marketing, outreach, or communications role.

• Must be a US Citizen and capable of passing the CJIS background check.

• Current IT or Cyber-security certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM, or similar) is preferred.
