This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Conduct research on organizations, communities, leaders, and individuals who can contribute relevant and diverse perspectives, experiences, and opportunities to programs.
• Actively reach out to and secure contributions from partners and collaborators.
• Identify and arrange organizational visits, place-based experiences, and community engagement opportunities.
• Provide briefings and support to contributors to facilitate the creation of impactful learning experiences.
• Organize and engage groups of young people and students in inclusive settings.
• Cultivate the skills and confidence necessary to independently lead program components both in-person and online.
• Collaborate with youth organizations, universities, and partners to recruit young participants and students.
• Establish and nurture a network of youth and educational partners.
• Work alongside program and partnership colleagues to ensure effective program delivery.
• Offer insights gathered from participants, partners, contributors, and external networks to enhance program development.
• Represent Common Purpose and cultivate trusted relationships with young individuals, clients, contributors, and partners.
• Demonstrated experience in outreach and engagement, including the proactive identification and involvement of individuals or organizations for participation or support.
• Capacity to make persuasive approaches and motivate various audiences to participate.
• Exhibited persistence and follow-through in achieving outreach or recruitment objectives.
• Experience in engaging young people or students from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and confidence levels.
• Proven track record in convening, engaging, or working with groups to create participatory environments.
• Confidence in interacting with individuals at all levels, from young people and community organizations to university staff, employers, and senior leaders.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and utilize initiative.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability in managing multiple prospects, relationships, and priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English, along with strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working autonomously while actively participating in a collaborative team environment.
• Capability to manage a diverse workload and competing priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the UK, including outside of standard working hours when necessary.

• Ability to showcase facilitation experience through relevant examples or other evidence of practice.
• Highly desirable: experience in working with young individuals or university students in youth outreach, participation, student engagement, widening participation, employability, or community engagement initiatives.

• Highly desirable: experience working across various sectors and cultures.
