OSP Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee and drive the delivery of the comprehensive OSP FTTH design initiative.

• Monitor design advancements, manage design timelines, and track design status to ensure adherence to schedule.

• Collaborate with the client's design team to foster strong working relationships through consistent status updates and alignment meetings.

• Work closely with the field construction team to guarantee that design plans are comprehended and implemented correctly.

• Participate in regular meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to communicate progress and address risks.

• Lead OSP Engineers and CAD/GIS technicians to ensure tasks are completed punctually, within budget, and meet project standards.

• Implement assigned OSP fiber network design projects across various markets.

• Assist FTTH projects that include high-level and low-level designs, field verification/staking, ROW permit submissions, and integration of construction redlines into final as-built plans.

• Collaborate with JSI and the client organization to effectively plan and execute project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in successfully managing intricate OSP FTTH design projects.

• Familiarity with RUS specifications and units is essential.

• A high level of professionalism and integrity, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong listening and interpretation abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams).

• Experience with AutoCAD, Google Earth, and other GIS platforms is required.

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or professional engineer certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
