Orders and Fulfillment Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Analyze sales data and market trends to aid in purchasing decisions.

• Organize and place supplier orders according to business needs.

• Maintain ongoing communication with around 10–20 vendors each month.

• Monitor order progress, supplier commitments, and delivery timelines.

• Coordinate the preparation of the warehouse for subsequent fulfillment.

• Collaborate with Amazon on pertinent order and fulfillment issues.

• Identify delays or discrepancies promptly and manage their resolution.

• Keep accurate records and ensure colleagues are updated on progress, risks, and next steps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, order management, or supply chain operations.

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities, with confidence in interpreting sales data.

• A structured and consistent approach to managing multiple suppliers and deadlines.

• Excellent follow-through and proactive communication skills.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a distributed team.

• A friendly, professional demeanor and high standards of accountability.

• Availability for South African daytime hours and occasional evening work.

• A reliable computer, internet connection, and appropriate remote working setup.

• Comfort in using Google Workspace.

• Experience in e-commerce or with Amazon is advantageous but not mandatory.
