Oracle Cloud Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the overall technical architecture and ensure the quality of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.

• Act as the main technical liaison between functional teams and client IT organizations.

• Lead the technical design and prototyping for integrations, reports, conversions, and extensions (RICE components).

• Assess technical solution alternatives and propose strategies based on project implications, scalability, and maintainability.

• Create and update technical design and approach documents, including Instance Strategy, Integration Approach, Conversion Approach, and Extension Strategy.

• Supervise the development, testing, and deployment of solutions provided by onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams.

• Deliver technical leadership, guidance, and governance for development activities.

• Assign tasks among development teams and Centers of Excellence.

• Ensure compliance with development standards, best practices, and project scope.

• Facilitate issue resolution and proactively manage technical risks and dependencies.

• Convert complex technical ideas into straightforward, business-friendly language.

• Communicate technical risks, issues, and solution options to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.

• Collaborate with program leadership, functional leads, and client stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.

• Mentor and train team members on Oracle Cloud technologies, architectural standards, and best practices.

• Promote a collaborative and high-performing environment across distributed delivery teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in large-scale, multi-pillar implementations.

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

• Experience in delivering at least 4 Oracle Cloud multi-pillar implementations.

• Extensive expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

• Extensive expertise in Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).

• Extensive expertise in Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.

• Strong background in designing, developing, and supporting applications across cloud platforms.

• Solid functional understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP Applications and ERP and/or SCM business processes.

• Proven track record of leading distributed onshore/offshore development teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing setting.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Preferred: Experience with EDI integrations and Oracle B2B framework.

• Preferred: Experience with Oracle Redwood UX.

• Preferred: Active Oracle Cloud certifications, particularly in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
