📋 Description

• Collaborate with physician owners, executive teams, ASC leaders, practice management, and private equity-backed organizations.

• Formulate growth strategies for independent ophthalmology practices, integrated eye care groups, and multi-location platforms.

• Assist in strategic initiatives, daily business operations, and practice management for ophthalmology and ASC leadership teams.

• Provide advice on organizational structure and leadership development.

• Enhance clinic operations, patient flow, scheduling, referral intake, and overall performance.

• Assess operational workflows, staffing resources, and project coordination.

• Analyze financial performance, revenue cycle trends, surgical contributions, and service line economics of practices.

• Aid in workforce planning, onboarding, employee development, and initiatives aimed at organizational effectiveness.

• Lead cross-functional projects and special initiatives in line with VMG Health's strategic objectives.

• Conduct operational assessments, financial analyses, growth strategy formulation, governance tasks, provider productivity evaluations, service line optimization, patient flow enhancements, workforce planning, resource coordination, and the development and implementation of reporting tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in ophthalmology, optometry, eye care, or specialty physician practice management.

• Preferred experience with independently owned ophthalmology practices, integrated platforms, or growth-stage organizations.

• Comprehensive understanding of the financial structure of ophthalmology practices, clinic operations, surgical coordination, provider productivity, and subspecialty service lines.

• Experience in analyzing financial performance, provider productivity, schedules, compensation plans, patient access, referral patterns, surgical volume, and operational metrics.

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with physician owners and executive leaders.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
