This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in the execution of training programs across designated and additional regions.
• Oversee current training initiatives and support the development of new programs and classes.
• Manage and monitor the training curriculum tailored for store managers.
• Implement programs for certified training stores and trainers.
• Contribute to the development of training for new franchisees.
• Communicate updates regarding operational policies and procedures.
• Conduct analyses to identify training needs and assess both short- and long-term regional training requirements.
• Aid in performing cost/benefit evaluations for training programs.
• Oversee training processes for both new and existing franchisees.
• Review and revise training materials, adapting programs to meet market demands.
• Communicate operational procedures and refresh manuals accordingly.
• Create training procedures and materials that are relevant to local markets.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and research and development teams on new products and procedures.
• Design training manuals, videos, and in-store training aids using internal or external resources.
• Supervise classroom training for corporate stores and franchisees.
• Coordinate class schedules in collaboration with franchisee training personnel.
• Implement and oversee train-the-trainer initiatives.
• Develop and deliver workshops during franchisee meetings, rallies, conventions, and conferences.
• Support and facilitate corporate colleague training and development initiatives.
• Create and conduct legally mandated training sessions, including OSHA and sanitation training.
• Oversee programs for certified training stores and local-market certified training managers.
• Monitor compliance with required training curriculum and devise continuous improvement strategies.
• Provide functional support and developmental coaching to field staff and trainers.
• Perform market training audits and communicate findings to leadership.
• Travel to markets for store conversions and openings to train colleagues.
• Assist in training for large buy/sell initiatives.
• Support recruitment efforts for part-time and full-time staff in priority markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, training and development, communications, or a related area; relevant work experience may be considered.
• At least five (5) years of experience in restaurant, retail, supply chain, or hospitality operations, or in a training role across any industry.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% of the time by air and/or road, including obtaining and maintaining necessary passport, visa, and travel documentation.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver training programs for both company and franchise operations.
• Excellent presentation, classroom instruction, and facilitation skills, with the capacity to train diverse groups.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to apply them in operational training settings.
• Competence in analyzing training needs, assessing effectiveness, and modifying programs based on feedback.
• Experience in reviewing and maintaining training and operational documents.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven analytical and critical-thinking skills, including cost/benefit analysis and operational impact assessment.
• Capacity to function effectively in fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environments.
• Preferred experience in restaurant training leadership.
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
