Operations Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Overseeing, organizing, and managing the OER field season event timeline

• Recording projects and expeditions to ensure compliance standards are met

• Creating and enhancing operational models and procedures for OER field activities

• Collaborating with both internal and external partners to plan exploration initiatives

• Delivering technical services for the planning, coordination, and execution of expeditions

• Managing field activities to achieve project-specific objectives

• Coordinating and producing documentation for the field season

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of technical and administrative services

• Experience in field operations and compliance

• Familiarity with NOAA or similar organizations

• Strong coordination and organizational abilities

• Understanding of environmental compliance regulations

• Capability to plan and oversee timelines and events

• Excellent documentation skills

• Awareness of Essential Fish Habitats, MMPA, and ESA compliance
