Operations & Strategy Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, scale, and enhance systems that support the manufacturing network.

• Develop scalable solutions to optimally allocate labor, monitor OEE, and manage order scheduling through system logic.

• Execute strategies and utilize tools to ensure that every order is properly scheduled, resourced, and delivered punctually.

• Collaborate with Product and Data teams to establish system requirements and make architectural decisions.

• Lead the creation of dashboards that offer real-time insights into labor, equipment utilization, and scheduling effectiveness.

• Identify bottlenecks, design solutions, and spearhead pilots and implementations.

• Work collaboratively across Strategy Operations, Product, Data, and Manufacturing departments.

• Facilitate scalability, predictability, and efficiency within manufacturing operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or roles focused on systems.

• Proven program/project management abilities with a track record of successful cross-functional system implementations.

• Experience in designing and executing systems for scalability, such as ERP/MES, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Strong data-driven analytical skills for problem-solving.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to translate operational needs into system specifications.

• Ability to influence stakeholders across different functions.

• Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.

• Capable of bringing clarity to ambiguous situations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in SQL, Looker, or similar analytical tools.

• Familiarity with marketplace business models.

• Experience in management consulting or investment banking is a plus.

• Previous experience in a startup environment is beneficial.

• Willingness to travel to the U.S. on a monthly basis.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.

• Legally authorized to work in Mexico.

• Mexican national status should be indicated in the application form.
