This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Assist in the training and education program for the Operations team at Longbridge Financial.
• Create, develop, and conduct onboarding, process, systems, product, compliance, and soft-skills training.
• Engage participants in both virtual and in-person training sessions.
• Oversee new-hire onboarding initiatives and training timelines.
• Design training for new products, processes, technologies, and operational projects.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership, the Head of Operations, and subject matter experts to determine training needs and identify learning gaps.
• Perform training needs assessments and offer coaching, refresher training, and performance support.
• Regularly meet with senior Operations leaders to ensure training priorities align with business objectives.
• Develop and sustain job aids, process guides, presentations, eLearning modules, knowledge assessments, and instructional videos.
• Review and enhance training materials and prepare refresher courses as necessary.
• Stay updated on products, systems, policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, observations, feedback, and performance indicators.
• Monitor training participation, completion rates, and performance data using the LMS and other reporting tools.
• Enhance competency and productivity via group and individual training interventions.
• Bachelor’s degree required, or a relevant combination of learning and development certification, education, and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in training and/or education.
• Minimum of two years in the mortgage industry.
• Preference for candidates with reverse mortgage experience.
• Direct experience in loan processing is desired.
• Skill in developing and delivering instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training programs.
• Experience in creating job aids, process guides, presentations, eLearning content, assessments, and reference documentation.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories, training techniques, and technologies.
• Experience collaborating with business leaders and subject matter experts to build and maintain training curricula.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, loan origination processes, operational workflows, systems, and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with RESPA, TILA/TRID, and HECM guidelines.
• Preferred experience with loan origination and servicing systems such as QR, MeridianLink, ICE, LoanBridge, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and eLearning development tools such as Articulate 360, Scribe, Camtasia, or similar platforms.
• Ability to evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, quality reviews, and performance metrics.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet time constraints.
• Core competencies include training delivery and facilitation, curriculum development, coaching and mentoring, presentation skills, data analysis and reporting, relationship management and problem-solving, adaptability, organization, time management, attention to detail, and ongoing learning.
• Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting procedures, manuals, policies, and regulations.
• Above-average oral and written communication, customer service, and analytical skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
