This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.
• Act as the primary contact for show teams regarding assigned events.
• Establish, consistently forecast, and meet operational budgets for shows.
• Oversee the effective operation and technical execution of various physical and digital events, features, and projects.
• Develop and execute show project plans, ensuring all operational tasks are completed on time.
• Ensure that events adhere to the company's Health & Safety, Security, and Sustainability policies.
• Implement both internal and external Service Level Agreements.
• Supervise the production and distribution of the show exhibitor manual.
• Collaborate with suppliers, show teams, and sponsors on briefs, designs, feature production, and signage.
• Manage registration areas and enhance the overall welcome experience for attendees.
• Prepare post-event reports and conduct KPI analyses.
• Monitor key contractors alongside Procurement and identify necessary corrective actions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports and other members of the EMEA Operations team.
• Establish and review performance objectives while identifying training requirements.
• Partner with colleagues to implement best practices in operational planning and management.
• Fulfill HSS Operating Model requirements and promote continuous improvement in event planning.
• Collaborate with Informa's Health & Safety and Sustainability teams.
• Hold a degree or possess equivalent qualifications.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the events or exhibition industry, or a similar field.
• Independently and effectively managed operations for multiple large events at a consistently high standard.
• Experienced in managing, supporting, and developing several direct reports simultaneously.
• Possess a solid understanding of the exhibition industry and related venues.
• Maintain positive working relationships with official contractors.
• Exhibit effective communication skills with Operations team members and individuals at the Director level.
• Familiar with best practices in procurement.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to inspire and motivate others.
• Ability to foresee potential issues and establish contingency plans.
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
• Willingness and capability to travel/work across various time zones, particularly within the EMEA region.
• Proven knowledge of exhibition Health & Safety guidelines and their implementation.
• Proficient in commonly used business software and project management tools.
• Hold an IOSH Managing Safety Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum requirement.
• Experience in managing large budgets is advantageous.
