This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.
• Act as the primary contact for show teams on designated events
• Establish, consistently forecast, and meet operational show budgets
• Oversee the successful execution of show operations and technical delivery for various physical and digital events, features, and associated tasks
• Manage the production and execution of show project plans and timelines
• Ensure events adhere to company Health & Safety, Security, and Sustainability policies
• Enforce internal and external Service Level Agreements
• Supervise the production and distribution of the exhibitor manual for the show
• Coordinate with suppliers, show teams, and sponsors regarding briefs, design, feature production, and signage
• Oversee registration areas and enhance the overall welcome experience
• Compile post-event reports and analyze KPIs
• Monitor key contractors with Procurement and propose corrective actions
• Guide, mentor, and develop direct reports and other members of the EMEA Operations team
• Establish and track performance objectives while identifying training requirements
• Collaborate with colleagues on operational planning and management best practices
• Fulfill HSS Operating Model requirements and integrate continuous improvement in event planning
• Partner with Informa H&S and Sustainability teams
• Degree-level education or equivalent experience
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the events or exhibition industry or a related field
• Independently and effectively managed operations for multiple large-scale events to a consistently high standard
• Experience in managing, supporting, and developing multiple direct reports concurrently
• Solid understanding of the exhibition industry and venues
• Established relationships with official contractors
• Strong communication abilities with Operations team members and individuals at Director Level
• Knowledge of sound procurement practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to inspire and motivate others
• Ability to foresee issues and implement contingency plans
• Proven capacity to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness and capability to travel/work across different time zones, particularly within the EMEA region
• Established knowledge of exhibition H&S Guidelines and their implementation
• Proficient in commonly used business and project management software
• Minimum of IOSH Managing Safety Certificate or equivalent
• Prior experience in managing large budgets is advantageous
