This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the intake and validation of shipments, ensuring that order details are comprehensive and precise.
• Facilitate bookings and obtain customer approvals by collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation as well as cutoff requirements.
• Establish and uphold accurate shipment records within pertinent systems.
• Update the Transportation Management System (TMS) and monitor shipment milestones, especially during departures.
• Track shipments in transit and address any delays, exceptions, or missing updates.
• Collaborate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure shipments remain on schedule.
• Analyze shipment costs and related charges for precision.
• Monitor shipment status and guarantee timely updates throughout the operational process.
• Recognize and escalate any issues that could impact shipment timelines or costs.
• Keep precise records and documentation for assigned shipments.
• Assist with process improvements and other operational tasks as necessary.
• Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation operations is essential.
• Experience with ocean freight is mandatory.
• Proven experience in coordinating shipments through various stages of the forwarding process.
• Familiarity with booking processes, shipping documentation, cutoffs, and shipment tracking is required.
• Proficiency in using CargoWise, TMS, or other freight management systems is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent follow-through skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to identify issues, proactively follow up, and escalate when necessary.
• Comfortable working independently in a dynamic logistics environment.
• Fiber internet is recommended, with a speed of 100/50 Mbps.
• Backup internet should provide at least 20 Mbps.
• A quiet and conducive home workspace is necessary.
• A wired Ethernet connection is preferred during work hours.
• A power backup (UPS) is preferred if the location experiences frequent outages.
• HMO coverage is available after three months of engagement.
• Leave credits are available after three months of engagement.
