Operations Business Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Gather and document business requirements from internal stakeholders.

• Assist in process mapping, documentation, creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and manage version control.

• Engage in stakeholder meetings to identify opportunities for process enhancements.

• Design, configure, and optimize workflows and processes.

• Develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce solutions along with declarative automation.

• Administer Salesforce users, profiles, permission sets, roles, queues, sharing, security, and access controls.

• Create and maintain Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, integrations, and custom Salesforce functionalities.

• Troubleshoot Salesforce issues, monitor system performance, and conduct root-cause analysis.

• Support Salesforce releases and deployments across development, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production environments.

• Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.

• Collect, validate, and analyze data, generating insightful reports.

• Develop training materials and provide user training when necessary.

• Conduct system testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing activities.

• Collaborate with vendors and technical teams on configurations, troubleshooting, integrations, and new features.

• Manage tasks and projects utilizing agile methodologies, including backlog management and sprint planning.

• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Assist in project management, task prioritization, timelines, and enhance cross-functional communication.

• Engage in continuous learning and seek mentorship from senior analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a business analyst, operations analyst, or in a similar capacity.

• Practical experience in Salesforce development and administration, including Flow, security/access configuration, data management, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, APIs/integrations, and deployment tools.

• Capability to produce and maintain high-quality business documentation and training materials.

• Strong analytical abilities with expertise in data interpretation, Excel, and/or data visualization tools.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with project management methodologies and collaboration platforms such as MS Teams, Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence.

• Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and adhere to deadlines.

• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, or related credentials.

• Prior experience in a regulated or healthcare-related industry is advantageous.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

• Expertise with Salesforce Lightning Platform, Salesforce administration, Flow, Apex, LWC, SOQL, APIs/integrations, and deployment/version-control tools.

• Must possess a valid and current driver's license, auto insurance, and professional licensure(s).
